The Sturgeon General’s web site was built for a relation of Lhecho, a grandmother sturgeon many times over. The Sturgeon General of the Lower Fraser is 135 years old and she lives at the mouth of the Fraser River, far downstream from where the Nechako flows into the Fraser. There’s lots to explore at this web site, because Meg and Matthew and their friends spent months doing research projects on sturgeon, water and air pollution, climate change, and other topics the scientists are studying so they can help the animals living in the Fraser River. (This web site is under construction, please stay tuned for a link to the new site!)
